But his stool was also really loose, which is different from how it has been. Kyler would eat corn by the handfuls and then one day he just stopped and has never wanted it again. He would also eat a banana every single day for about 6 months and then decided he didn't like them anymore, so I didn't give them to him for a month, but now if I offer him one a week he'll usually eat it, but he doesn't love them like he used to. Now is when it gets tricky to make sure they are still eating healthy, but don't be afraid to try new things. Kyler couldn't get enough cooked cabbage and beets at his granny's house and those are things we don't ever eat, but if the kid likes it, we'll start buying it for sure! PS, what's with the two blow-outs in one day? Time to switch brands or sizes of diapers, or was he just having a rough day?!Chelseahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12799494841663201861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6505367244567483130.post-12212483108158987882011-01-11T12:53:40.875-05:002011-01-11T12:53:40.875-05:00How old is he now? 10 months? I hate to say this, but if this is a food preference issue (as opposed to a tummy bug issue) it might just continue to get worse before it gets better. Garrett ate great until he was 11 or 12 months, and then he decided he wanted to be Extremely Picky. I'm still waiting for him to recover. Caleb hasn't been so bad, but it was at the same age that he started expressing his likes and marked dislikes for certain foods. Very frustrating for me, I'll tell you that. Don't give up on the broccoli altogether, though. Another thing I've learned is that kids can decide they like something again as fast as they decided they hated it. Good luck and hang in there. The road to successfully feeding kids is sometimes a very, very long one.

(Also, I love the image of you just standing there not knowing what in the world to do. I do that all the time!)Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13827607152706015982noreply@blogger.com
