I'm not a fan of this growing up thing.

I shoulda been...

-a doctor so I could examine my son and determine if he really is sick, then write a prescription if needed

-a chef so I could make nutritious and delicious meals for my family and enjoy doing it

-a photographer so I could capture amazing photographs of my family

-a computer programmer so I could fix any technological problem that arises

-a nutritionist so I would know how our bodies process foods

-a personal trainer so I would know what exercises to do to get rid of these jiggly arms (and hips, and thighs...)

-a writer so I could have an amazing blog that thousands of people would read and I could make money off of it

-a mathematician so when Blake reaches high school I won't have to tell him I never really learned how to do proofs

But I'm a mom.  

And I can live with that.

I love cute food! Well, I love delicious food more because when it comes down to it, I care more about how my food tastes than how it looks.

But these spinach lasagna rolls just looked so cute hanging out in the baking dish.

And with spaghetti sauce and mozzarella all melted on top, they crossed into the "potentially delicious" category. (I was a little disappointed with how they tasted. I like the concept, so I'll have to figure out a different filling.)
